Mini-Cooper

This is my weekend project... I re-drew a Mini for a friend, for whom I had done one several years ago... After seeing the old one, I knew I had to do an improved version for him. A lot of little details.. especially on the grill... all done in Illy... hope you enjoy. Robo

Re: Mini-Cooper

Great work Robo.

Now to me, this one cries out for a bit of interior detailing/shading to show thru the window reflections.

The body reflections work well on the blue.

Re: Mini-Cooper

Blip... Thanks. I agree with you, but I was too lazy... so, Before I give it to my partner, I took your advice and added a quick interior, wipers, hood vents, etc. Roboduck

Re: Mini-Cooper

nice

I'd add wheel well shadows. If you darker up the shadow under the car you can get a deper black on your tires and roll them into the shadow and help ground the car.

The body reflections are top notch.

Re: Mini-Cooper

Hey nice work. just 1 thing the pssenger side of the interior looks empty. dont get me wrong i cant ever imagine how to draw in this manor. So I dont know how easy/hard it would be 2 fix. But excellent job overall!

Re: Mini-Cooper

Hey GirlBear... you are right. I didn't draw in the back part of the headliner and oppsing window fram, etc... because I was too lazy. Heck, I hadn't even put in the seats til CC's. But thanks... I shouldn't have been so rushed... a lot of little details elsewhere wore me thin. Robo
