belt removing

My car is Frod 2000 Taurus V6-DOCH engine. I need help please to removing the belt, what is the procedure?

You might pick up a Haynes repair manual for your car at a parts store, it will take you step by step thru the belt replacement and other things. Anyway, there should be a belt tensioner that can be pried back away from the belt allowing the belt to come off. The replacement procedure is just the opposite. It was fairly easy on my 98 Taurus, it may be different on yours, thats why I suggest a manual. You'll need specific tools to do the job. Good Luck.

Good advice above. Before removing the belt, check for a decal with a diagram of how the belt goes around the pulleys. If you don't find one, draw yourself a diagram before you remove the belt. Been there, done that.
