Okay ordered a crankshaft pulley and installed it at college automotive laboratory.
my instructor told me that the crankshaft sensor might go off and not perform acurate as it did when high RPMs reached because the aftermarket pulley did not have that one screen that the sensor read off. As it turned out 15 minutes later. the light came on with the code saying the sensor is missing. Well I love the light crankshaft and I can feel the little change in accelerating but what do you guys suggest??? anyway I can keep this pulley and but put that circle screen on it or make it work like the stock one did. I need help plz guys. I am in a performance run in my 2001 GA GT and I'll keep in touch on what else I put next ![]() Thanks, Meti |

Re: crankshaft pulley
Yes the interrupter ring needs to be on the new one.
I'm surprised it didnt come with one already ![]() I'm even more surprised that it even ran.... I'd test the 24X CPS first.

Re: crankshaft pulley
yea i found out that as well. it didnt come with one but now its using 3X instead of 24X which is still fine but not so sufficient below 1600RPM-s.
Allright, problem solved. Thanks alot man. |
