Re: major clutch problem...help!!!!

there are a few things that may have happened.....the first thing is that you definately f**ked your clutch. I'm not all that surprised by that....and even though you dont want to hear it, you kind of deserved it.

You could have broken a spring off the clutch face and that could have done god knows what to the PP or shift fork....you could have messed up the transmission somehow, etc and so forth...

There is only one way to tell and that's to tear the engine/tranny out and look at the clutch assembly. Take pics and post them....we'll help you out

Re: major clutch problem...help!!!!

hmm.. i have a math equation for this!

weak, stock clutch + burnouts = your car giving you the mental finger....

i agree with Schister on this one though, and i cant wait for pics...

Re: major clutch problem...help!!!!

i blew a fist size hole in the side of the transmission, the damn clutch is fine, but the tranny is junk, there a pieces of metal in the trans where it blew apart, so i have decided just to put a si transmission in it...thanks for everyones replys...but i was at 3500rpms when i hit second and i was on wet road when it blew apart.
