97 Bravada
One day my Bravada started blowing heat all the time. You can't change the temp. the AC won't work now, even when the heater is off the heat still comes out on the floor. We tried changing the controls and that didn't work. Does anyone know what it could be. The AC was charge last summer and worked for 2 days before all this started. Does anyone know what it could be.

Re: 97 Bravada
Do you have the auto climate control where your knobs are marked in temps? If so you have an electric blend door that often fails due to plastic gears. If not check the vac line in the engine compartment from the intake over to the drivers side fender - the plastic line that Ts off goes to the heater controls which if bad default to defrost.

Re: 97 Bravada
No I don't have auto climate control. I also looked at the vac line, it was hooked up. i unhooked it and it still was blowing heat but the heater stays off now when you turn the knob off. Where is the blending door for the heater/ac? Could that be it?

Re: 97 Bravada
Behind the glove box you should be able to get to it. Pull in the left rear of the box then it should just pass the stop and the box drops forward so you can get in there.
