HOW DO I TEST IGNITION COILS 02 accent?

I have found out that the igniton coils are getting power.. How do i test if they are producing power??

Use voltmeter check the 2 wires , light green is constant 12v positive from the ignition switch on, the other wire is a negative ground from the computer ECM & the reading varies from 5 volts down to zero since the ecm switches on/off within mille seconds . Read for the negative volts when cranking over or running.

another way to see if they're bad... unplug the coil... set voltmeter to ohms... check for continuity of the wire inside the coil...

if you see an ohm reading... the coil wire is good... u see "OL" or an open, well, u guessed it...
