Problem starting car
Today i finished installing some lights in my car, and ive obviusly been plaiying around with them, and the car itself hasnt moved in quite a while.
Today i went to start it up, and everything went normaly for a second, then everyhting cut out. I cant get any electrical to work on my car at all. The lights i added run directly to the battery, and dont connect to the cars other wiring at any point. Oddly enough, these lights will turn on when i flick the switch i installed, even though nothing else in the car electrical works. Does that seem like its probably just a dead battery? or maybe somthing worse? thnx |

Re: Problem starting car
It could be possibly be the alternator. Take the battery and the alternator to autzone or w/e to get it tested.

Quote:
That might be your problem. I would check the main fuse, chances are you shorted something out while installing your new lights.
