Motherf@$king squirrels!

Son of a bitch! You guys have seen pics of my engine bay before; I am very anal about it's cleanliness. I got under the hood last night to clean the acid crust from around the battery area, and there were acorns all over my engine bay. Not only that, but they ripped up the sheet of insulation that goes on the firewall!

Motherfucker!

Well
Two ways to fix squirrels.
Fry the young ones or pressure cook the old tought ones.
That is when season is open on them.

Re: Motherf@$king squirrels!

best thing to do is next time you detail your engine bay...use a silicone shine agent.....like trans-mate's accent.....does wonders.....little bastards cant grip to get under there

Re: Motherf@$king squirrels!

Anyone got a part # for the insulator/liner? Chevy dealer wants $150, and I'm trying to beat that.

No, if I shoot them, it will be with 12 gauge slugs; I intend to vaporize them.

Where's the sport in that? You should limit yourself to at least a .410

Re: Motherf@$king squirrels!

I found it! http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=15078177

The damn chevy dealer near me wants $150 plus tax for it; that's over $26 above list price.

I dunno, but the stealership said they just got through replacing someone else's firewall insulation for the same reason.

Re: Motherf@$king squirrels!

Are you sure it's Squirrels? I had a Rat that was eating shells and stuff like that all over the underside of my Tractor. I got so tired of the mess I laid out some traps and caught the little bastard.

If you want to catch this thing. Put some sticky pad type traps under the hood of your engine. They stick to that and then you've got'em. Sorry to hear about your engine bay.

Happy Hunting, as it were...

Re: Motherf@$king squirrels!

I'm sorry, I had to quash my initial reaction of laughing. It really does suck. Don't have to deal with that kind of crap in this part of Suburbia. I've had friends get rats or mice eating battery and starter cables, but never anything this extreme. Were they setting up storage in there? This reminds me of those commercials for the cereal with the nuts in it where the squirrels were relentlessly trying to get to it.
