Previa Wipers
Can anyone tell me where I can get a cheap pair of replacement wipers for my '93 Previa. The auto chains only carry the blade and not the whole unit and the dealer wants alot of $$$. Thanks
BTW, i put 195k on this van in 12 years, still going strong. |

Re: Previa Wipers
My solution to this problem was to drill out the rivet holding the wiper to the arm and replace it with a standard new one. I drilled suitable holes in the new one and used pop rivets on the right hand one. However I had to use a nut and bolt on the left hand one due to the bulk of the double arm (I couldn't get the rivet gun close enough) I did this about 10 months ago and have not had any problems.

Re: Previa Wipers
I drilled mine as well and installed bosch frame and blades. What to do with the washer jets? I zip tied mine onto the new wiper frames with tiny black zip ties. looks good

Re: Previa Wipers
Not sure if the 93 has the same setup as the 92, but I have a 92 and I went to the dealer in Florence KY and got new rubber on all 3 wipers for 13 bucks- seems fairly reasonable since they put them on for me. If your hardware is still good maybe this is an alternative.
