oil pan gasket
i changed my oil pan gasket yesterday today i noticed small oil leaks where ever i park. does the gasket tak time to set?
also there is oil thats is leaking somewhere rfrom the top of the motor head i changed the valve cover gasket with a complete set the oil is primarily concentrated where thr btranny meets the engine could it be the vtec solenoid /gasket? |

did you clean the mating surface of the block and oil pan?
did you use any RTV? check and see if you can find the leak trails on the side of the pan.

actually i only cleaned the pan and didnt use any rtv that ran throuhg my mined but i was in a hurry to put it bak togetheer a. being it was getting dark b. being it was freezing cold

You should get some Honda Bond or Mitsubishi Silicone and use it all along the oil pan and in the corners where the cam is for the valve cover gasket. You don't need it all the way around the valve cover gasket, just in those corners where it's less likely to seal (because they're corners). But you should definently try and clean up the area better and see if it gets a better seal (for the valve cover gasket I mean).
