94 battery volt problem

I just bought this 94 Ford T-Bird last week and it already has started to act up on me. I just put a new battery in yesterday. But the problem I am having is that every time I roll down my window or turn my blinker on, the guage on the battery, on the dashboard moves back and forth. The battery place told me if i dont get this fixed that it will drain my battery in the next couple of weeks. I thought it might be the atlernator but I had it checked out and its fine, any sugguestions on what else to check, maybe the electrical wiring? Has anyone else had this problem before, any help would be appreciated!

It isn't anything to worry about your gauge is acting like most of the 94 95 tbirds don't worry withit.

Red face Re: 94 battery volt problem

okay well thanks for your help, i didnt know if that was normal or not. It probably only moves back and forth between the little battery sign in the middle of it, but it just bothers me cause Im not use to that happening. And with every guy I talked to about this said "well you need to get this fixed or your battery will probably die in the next couple of weeks!".

Re: 94 battery volt problem

Yeah dont even worry about it. Mine has been doing that ever since I got it about 3 years ago. and plus the only time you're really using your turn signals is when your engine is running right? Well then dont you think that your battery would be fine unless your alternator doesnt work since it should be getting charged WHILE its doing that?
