S2000 Headlight tips...

I need some advice for doing the headlight fixtures on the Tamiya S2000. Do you guys just paint it all black (spray), then paint the silver on the lenses? Or does everyone mask very carefully then paint black?
Thanks.

You must paint them satin black whith a brush whithout painting the chrome parts that have to remain chrome ; but first you have to scrape softly whith a cutter the part you have to paint black. if you don't do that the color doesn't grip. This is wrote in the instructions small, near the page that teachs you to apply the special decals.

Good luck; it isn't hard

Well, looks like I'm going to have to do them the hard way. Thought there might be a shortcut. Thanks for the replies! :bandit:
