Running Lights not working
So I have a brother whos running lights aren't working. Checked the 15 amp fuse in the 6th slot and it's fine. The headlights are working fine. Could this be a faulty headlight switch? 2000 Cherokee

Re: Running Lights not working
I'll check later on to see if the hazards work. I'm not to sure what I'm looking at in this diagram. Care to help a bit further Aloha?

Ok...the diagram shows which wire is coming out of the headlight switch that feeds the running lights. It is colored Black with a Yellow tracer.
Test for power or 12 volts there. If there is no voltage you have a bad light switch. If you have power there, then the proplem is in the wiring or fuse 7 (left side) or fuse 23 (right side) on the Junction Block which is at the RH kick panel. I did not provide the diagrams for the rear which go through the same fuses 7 and 23. Note: I was thinking the E-flasher was on same circuit but not so... according to the diagram. |
