"Rothmans" blue?
Hi all,
Just a quick question, what blue paint would be the closest match to the Rothmans logo? I'm building a few kits which will have the Rothmans livery. I prefer to use Tamiya paints, and if i can get away with a TS then even better (cause I can get a little lazy setting up my spray gun), but any suggestions would do just fine. Thanks Achilles |

Re: "Rothmans" blue?
The closest match in the Tamiya line is TS-15, at least that is what they recommend in the instructions for the Rothmans Porsche 956. I believe X-4 is the acrylic equivalent.

Re: "Rothmans" blue?
I think it would depend on the specific car because I don't think they used the same shade on all the Rothmans liveried cars. Some were darker than others.I am using Finishers Bright Blue on the Williams FW16.

Re: "Rothmans" blue?
I’m definitely looking for the darker shade of blue so by the sounds of things the TS-15 & X-4 should do the trick. Thanks
