Transfer case Problem
99 blazer LT
THe truck will go into 4x4 just fine. When I try to switch back to 4x2 the dash service light comes on. Sometimes if I turn the moter off and back on I can switch back to 4x2. Than sometimes I have to diconnect the - battery terminal and reconect and it will switch back. Any ideas?

Re: Transfer case Problem
JUst was messing with it. Won't go into 4x4 now. Light just blinks, no service light comes on.
Can hear motor in transfer case working. No vacuum at actuator. Followed vacuum line back to some kinda of switch on the fire wall. Has vacuum before, but not after. Pulled electical connection to case, look clean inside. Swirhed to 4x4 with it off, service light came on. Put it back on, no service light. IS the vacuum switch on the fire wall bad?
