The 14b is in good condition, it has no shaft play or cracks. However, it has sat for a long time.

am i reading correctly that you want 100$ for the 6 bolt long block that comes with engine/head/alter/pulleys/etc? or is that for a bare block w/ crank and pistons?

long block means ready to drop in motor.

short block means it needs accessories.

Yeah, I know what long block means. Sorry about that, I didnt put that very well. The engine gasket kit is for the entire long block. I have already sold the block with internals, I stilll have the top end though. I'll fix the ad.

That isnt a 14b. Its a 13g, came stock in 1g auto cars. Its smaller than a 13b, IIRC is just a tiny hair bigger than a t25.

Hmmm this is strange, it seems like your right, i never really bothered to double check the thing. I pulled it out of a 100% stock 1990 manual.......i wonder how it got in there or maybe the 1990 turbos were different somehow?????

A previous owner must've blown the stocker out and thrown that on instead. All 1g manuals came with 14b's, that one just got put on there by someone that didnt know (or did know but just didnt care). Side note: Same thing happened to me, my "bone stock" 90 TSI AWD has an aftermarket clutch, balance shaft removal, and a big 16g. Oh yeah, it also had a blown headgasket and a shot oil pump. Funny how that shit happens. .

I also have one question, what is that bubble wrapped deal in the first picture? I thought it looked like a leg at first...
