hey i have a 90 ranger 2.9l the motor has a rod knockin or some other severe problems so im tryin to find out if it would be cheaper to rebuild it or buy a new one? and where would i find a motor or parts?thanks

E-Bay has a lot of parts for pretty cheap, I've had pretty good luck if you know what you're looking for. You would be suprised what you can find on google as well. Pete

Unless you are an expert mechanic, I'd buy another vehicle. However, if you just to tinker with the vehicle (time and money are no object) then have at it.
