My car won't start.

I have a 96 neon and it won't start. It won't even attempt to turn over. The power is comin on in the car. If anyone knows shats wrong or how to fix it can you please let me know.

Re: My car won't start.

First keep it simple and check if your battery is charged enough to crank the engine. Then check all you wiring to make sure you don't have an open circuit and check the resistance of the wiring. Then start checking the starting components such as the solonoid and starting motor. Just remember start with the msot simple things and work from there.

Oh yeah forgot that obvious thing. If the person doesn't know you have to have the car in neutral or park to start it, I strongly advise it be taken to a mechanic.
