Car Keeps Cutting Off
I have a 2001 buick LeSabre with 69,000 miles on it.
Sometimes when I am driving it will just cut off in the middle of traffice. Doing this time the volt light will show up on the dash. This happen before and after I replace my battery. I replace my battery about 2 weeks ago and made sure the cables were tight. Then sometimes after I have driven for a while and go into the store and come back out it will not start. I took it to the shop and unless they can duplicate the problem they don't know what wrong with it. And of course when I take it there it will not do anything. Have any one had this problem?

Re: Car Keeps Cutting Off
I mean that it would act like it want to start. But if I let it sit for maybe 15 to 20 minutes it will start right up again.

Re: Car Keeps Cutting Off
During this no start event, you will have to check for spark at the plugs and fuel pressure and /or injector pulse, this will take a helper of course and a scanner to check for cranking rpms and a fuel pressure gage, a noid lite for checking injector pulse, this can be, without guess work, a difficult diagnosis.
