a ill-thought-out little ramble

I kind of wonder if people just let themselves not understand things because they are afraid if they do life will get too simple. Is the reason for why people have always wondered who am I and why am I here, simply because they dont want to accept the truth that they have already known?

Do people realize how much differntly someone else might think? Not only in what they focus there thoughts on but how they focus there thoughts and more importantly how they examine their thoughts? Im courious as to how many people stay firmly planted in the present and how many are always a little behind the present, trying to take an examined view of it, and how many switch back and forth thinking nothing of it.

Who exists the same way they did when they were younger and who now uses differnt methods?

Knowing is good. But searching for The answers (life, Death, Universe, God...) is stupid, since it doesn't matter. Some people accept it, most people don't. You should stick to the thing/belief you're happy with, and don't care about the truth, since it'll either give you confirmation to what you already "knew", or, it'll prove you wrong and you'll feel bad about it.
