Pointless news

It seems that there is a list of news topics that journalists have stored up somewhere and they cycle through this list three times a year. Its never actually anything new or interesting just the same shit I read a four months back. This doesnt just apply to one part of the news its all of it, the last new thing I have learned from the news is that pluto is no longer a planet. I honesly cannot think of another thing that was remotely groundbreaking news. If they cant come up with something to say I want a smaller newspaper not some watered down shit that you have to sift through.

A lot of it depends on what news you watch. I see plenty of crap on the major networks that I wouldn't even consider news. It's all about catering to what most people want to see/hear. I was appalled when I seen CNN run a segment about what Hollywood celebrities thought of their politicians. That is NOT news worthy. I'll take stories about our universe before that.

I find BBC and PBS newscasts the most relevant and informative. Important issues that might get 1 minute on the networks are taken on in depth here, often with interviews with experts or insiders from ALL sides of the story.

Actually the vote passed. They will start to enlarge it, but I forgot when it said in the news.

Id have to agree with you for the most part about trash news, 80% of the time I see bs articles about the same government situations over and over again. Although I did see a couple of Americans won the Nobel in Science or Physics for something in outerspace, and like a week later someone else won it for writing something, he was also from America. Just comb through the paper every day and hope for something that grabs your attention lol.
