Re: New remote starter installed.... passlock

There isn't much you can do about the passlock but fix the prob. The dealership will get about $600 to fix it. My problem went away in my 01. It plagued us for about 1yr and then nothing. I've posted about this befoe do a search under my name or search under passlock or car won't start. There is a sequence that can be done to reset it and that works for a bit but not a fix.

Re: New remote starter installed.... passlock

When the car won't start is the security light blinking? When the car does this did you use the key or the remote starter? Chances are the remote start is not engaging the passlock bypass properly. Or if the bypass is not setup it wont work either.
