2000 LS stutter

I am looking at buying this 2000 LS from a used lot but the car has a minor issue. At around 58-62 mph, if the car is under a load, it stutters then it takes off. What could cause this? They replaced the Throttle positioning sensor and that didn't help. I can buy it for $5,500 the way it is. It has 94,000 mi and has only had 2 owners and the second was a lady.

Re: 2000 LS stutter

They said that if you start to accelerate within that range is stutters but then you can punch it and it takes off. Anything before that or after that there isn't a problem.

It does it between 30-40mph, it hesitates then does ok. IT doesn't do it all the time.

car jerks during accleration, Please help

I have a 00 LS with 94,000 mi on it. I've noticed that the car jerks during accleration at or around 40-60mph. It doesn't shift hard at all just hesitates within those ranges. It doesn't do it all the time, there isn't anything I can do to make it do this, it just does it when ever. Could the PCS cause this? TPS and Fuel pressure regulator has been changed. Please any help at all would be great!

Re: car jerks during accleration, Please help

I have a 2003 Impala with 113,000 miles on it and I notice the same problem between 10-20mph. Maybe we have the same problem. Just thought I'd let you know that you're not alone!

Re: car jerks during accleration, Please help

It only acts up after the car has shifted thru all the gears and you begin to accelerate. It begins to hesitate as you accelerate, the tac jumps back and forth. It does it pretty consistantly. If you hard accelerate you don't notice it at all.
