1993 Buick Regal

I just bought a '93 Buick Regal Custom. I noticed that when I start the car a fuel light (shaped like a tea kettle) comes on and then when I step on the gas a battery light appears. Can someone tell me what the possible problem or problems may be? Thanks In Advance

I think that "tea kettle" maybe be your oil light...

Re: 1993 Buick Regal

This may be the oil light, I would check the level and maybe change the oil if its old, have the oil pressure switch changed out also, these are all cheap opitions, if the oil pump is bad, then you may be facing a pump replacement or at worst a engine replacement, have an experience tech check the oil pressure, you didnt state if this model has an oil pressure guage and / or what engine have. does it leak, does it smoke, how does it run, whats the power feel like? I wouldn't jump on it or do high speed cruising till this is checked, the engine replacement will exceed the car's vaule. OR it may be a liveable electrical problem, does the battery stay charges, are the lights bright, are there other sympthoms, ??? get the oil pressure checked out real soon, NO ENGINE, NO GOIING
