What the heck is this -- "Galassa 50" in Rome
Saw this in Rome last week. It's a "Galassia 50." Has a center driving position (like a Mac F1). Has one front wheel and 2 rear wheels. Looks almost like a boat. Google search came up empty. Anyone know more about it?

Re: What the heck is this -- "Galassa 50" in Rome
your problem may lie in that you're spelling it wrong. it's not "galassa" it's "galassia". but no, i don't know anything about it.

Looks Russian... but that might just be the complete redonk-ness of it.

Quote:
This car called Galassia 50 was produced by an Italian company named ACAM (Catania, Sicily). The engine was a two stroke, one cilinder of 49,9 cc produced by Piaggio, the same mounted by the three weels working car named Piaggio Ape 50 and the classical scooter Piaggio Vespa 50. 4 forward gears and 4 rear gears. Maximum speed 50 Km/h. In 1997 the price to buy it was about 5.500.000 Lire (about € 2.850,00). ![]()
