Not your average Golf mkII...

It's a damned supermonstar from the other side of the Scarctic Circle, the City of Lordi, Rovaniemi.

A Revell VW Golf GTi with a touch of customizing made with Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRC '02 body kit and Nissan's infamous RB26DETT power unit. The color theme is from Rovaniemi's coat of arms:

And special thanks to my kitten, Aurora, for making modelling more difficult with her snorring.

"Aurora! Bad kitty!"

But let's get in the business. Meet The Destroyer!

Re: Not your average Golf mkII...

Thats a pretty cool build. It may have looked a little more aggressive if it was a little bit lower and maybe a different set of wheels. Its still bad ass though!!

I think it looks cool too, especially the front. And I know all about cats keeping you company on the workbench. I like how you treated the seats with the body colour.

Not too big a fan of green, especially in that shade, but what a monster to think of putting a RB26 in such a chassis. Nice build.

Cool! great color choose! I bet that front bumper was a little complicated to fit in...hehehehehe
Nice interior! and the idea to put an RB26 on it was cool too.

Re: Not your average Golf mkII...

I love mk2 gtis, nice creation, some how the front bumper seems to fit it well. The engine is a nice touch, the paint seems a little too ricy for me, also i would lower it a bit. Black trim would be a better combo but thats my opinion, overall a nice build.

You have a beautiful kitten! I have two cats myself.

Great looking Golf, a bit of a change from the norm.

Re: Not your average Golf mkII...

It's a shame that the body porpotions are so off ( the roof is too low imho) otherwise a great build!
