ing/ gauges

the ing/ gauges fuse keeps blowing i switched out the ing sw and even pulled out the gaugesthe truck runs the only thing is that the gauge clusters dont work and there is no power for thew bulb test and its not sinding power to the alt diod every thing els seems to be working ohhh by the way it does have a/c i dont know what ells to do

The IGN/GAUGE supplies power to many of he engine information sensors as well as the instruments. There may be a failure of a sensor or the wiring to the sensor. Rather than continually replacing fuses, start checking circuit resistance to ground with an ohmmeter until you determine the cause of the overload.

Thanks for the common advice but it turned out to be a bad ground between the block and fire wall IMAGINE THAT

ohh that didnt even solved the prob i finely decited just to test the alt and bammm that was the prob the ground wire stoped it for a week or so thin it stated again so the allt was bad even thow i had recently replaced it thanks auto zone with your remand crap
