New HPI Savage .21!

HPI is commin out with a monster truck that is, in my opinion, goin to blow away the t-maxx (even the revised one) its goin to have a 21 engine, 2 inches wider and longer i could go on but i will let you go to the link and read about it

499 - strongsvillehobby.com
489 - xrponline.com
479 - sheldonshobbies.com
429 - ehobbies.com
419 - towerhobbies.com (also say it for 439 so i not exactly sure)
and the best so far
395 - therchouse.com

i also saw it for 600+ but can't remember where, but it doesn't matter cuz who is gonna spend 600

I highly doubt that will blow the New t-maxx away. The T-maxx was the #1 MT and I bet it will continue to be..

one you can't really compare this truck to the tmaxx because its a 1/8 scale and the t maxx os 1/10 and 2 i think it will give it a run for its money but we will see

ps the only reason it been #1 is because it the cheapest one (that i know of) i was goin to say only one but the i rembered the juggatnaut and quake but like i said we'll see

teh HPI savage will blow any stock T-maxx away in a drag race. At a track, the new ones would be interesting. They are greatly overrated. I have never been impressed by any T-maxx ive personally seen, specially the ones at the track, I can consistenly lap them with my HPI RS4 MT.

All I have to say is...................hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah a thats funny the savage blowing away the t-maxx nice joke. even though the new t-maxx tops out over 40 and the savage tops at 33. and u have to buy the reverse? wtf? the tmxxes 2.5 motor will blow that .21 away. Plus the savage is stealing tmaxx bodys.

granted the maxx will win in a drag race, the savage has it on the track...the savage out handles the maxx in turns, jumps and the air...now before you go bashin me because i said that i have a good reason to, i own both the new maxx (sold old one to get the new) and a savage and like i said, besides speed in a drag race the savage will beat the maxx...and another thing, the maxx breaks alot easier than the savage, yes the savage isn't invicable (sp?) but at least its alot more reliable

i know this is old, but im responding based on what mhpspeed said. he said the savage is stealing the t-maxxes bodies. There is a very good reason that the savage was designed to accept teh same bodies as teh maxx. this way, buyers will have much much much more options than if hpi had made it a different size/dimensions than the maxx. it also makes it easy for peopel that have both to change the look of their truck with no effort. The savage is not the only truck to do this.
