94 4.3 won't start
I finished changing the upper and lower ball joints on my brother-in-laws truck today and when I finished it wouldn't start. I don't even get a click from the starter. The battery is good. He had to leave early in the morning so I called him and he said he had to adjust the neutral/park safety switch down on the steering column as per the Haynes. I tried it also but no luck. I don't really think it is the starter. I hate to leave it that way.

Re: 94 4.3 won't start
Try getting 12v to the purple wire on the solenoid or jump the trans switch as required, may just be out of adjustment/bad, but out of adjustment would start in some position.

Re: 94 4.3 won't start
Took the starter off to get it tested and it was bad. I put a re-man on and it works fine. Thanks anyway.
