i drive my 99 mustang about once a week, and the battery keeps draining the day i want to drive it, i thought it was the reading lamps cause they stayed on if the car was on or not, and its still doin it. they checked the battery and its almost new, alternator is fine, any idea what this could be?thanks |

Re: battery draining
im having the same issue with mine however it used to sit for 4 months at a time without starting it with no problems, now it cant hold a charge for a week. i replaced it with an optima red top, same problem. i think my solution is going to be a trickle charger to keep it topped off while im not using it.
