I have a 2004 Dodge Intrepid, Does anyone know why the oil light would be coming on when I decelerate or when car idle's after the engine gets hot?
Engine light goes off when accelerating, oil has been changed recently

First thing check the oil level.
Then if any warranty head for the dealer.
Oil pressure needs to be checked with a manual oil pressure gauge to ffind the actual/real oil pressure.
May be just a wire or bad oil sending unit.
