93 Lesabre Glove Box Door Key Cylinder R/R

I'm replacing my glove box door (got one off ebay) since the plastic release lever latch was missing from my old door. I want to take the key cylinder from my old glove box door and put it in the new one so my key will work with the new door. I checked the service manual but it was no help.

Does anyone know how to remove just the key cylinder from the door latch mechanism? There must be a way to release it and remove it because the key cylinder was already removed from the door I bought.

I'm sure there must be simple way to do it, but I do not want to break anything by prying too hard.
