Need Quick Help

I'm changing the transmission fluid on my 2004 F150 and have found a mystery part. It was in the transmission pan when I removed it. It's yellow plastic, about 1 1/2 inches long and has an oring on it. I made a couple of pictures of it that you can see at: http://home.bellsouth.net/p/s/commun...iew=thumbs&ck=

Hopefully someone can tell me where it goes; or, that it really doesn't belong in there.

Well it is a cheery transmission.
Been a long time since I heard of anyone finding one of them.
It has Never been fooled with.
But no problem No sweat No worries.
It is a dipstick hole plug put in at the factory and then on down the assembley line they shove the dip stick and tube in and it falls into the bottom of the transmission pan.
But it does give DIY's nightmares wondering what it is.
And I have even heard of mechanics trying to find a place in the transmisson where it came from.
Just keep it as a sovenior of the first service on your transmission.
And make sure you use the good ford fluid your dipstick or owners manual calls for.
