I have a 1990 S10 blazer and the wipers dont turn off. SO i have to take a fuse out when i dont need to have them on. I have been told that its the pulse module thats bad and that's why i cant turn them off from the coulmn. So 1st question. Is that what it is? 2nd question I found a pulse module for 30 dollars so how do i change it? Is there any soldering involved, or is it just unplug the old one and plug in the new one? This is really pissing me off so i would appreciate any help. Thanks...

Re: What is a Pulse module and where does it go?
Quote:
It is a plug and play deal. Right onthe front of wiper motor. The new module should have installation instructions. Or a drop of solder on your old module in the right spot would fix it. Run a search and you will find a lot of post on them. MT

Re: What is a Pulse module and where does it go?
MT hit it right on the spot. My advice, pay the $30 for the part and do it yourself. I wasn't aware of this module replacement a few years back when my wipers died, so i replaced the whole motor...
You will also need a torx head screwdriver/bit or somthing of the like that has torx head. think it is a 15 or a 20...someone remember for sure?? |
