Anyone know anything about this meet?

Scanned in from EVO's latest issue -

Seems to be Flemke's #040 and one of the Lark short-tails GTR's #013R along with 2 Veyrons, CLK-GTR, 959, Carrera GT, Porsche 996 GT1, SLR, numerous Ferraris, Lambo's and Porsches, a Bugatti EB110, a BMW Z8, a Bentley Azure and a Mini amongst others

I wish i went - Does anyone have any more pictures from this event?

Re: Anyone know anything about this meet?

Hello,

Err, can you repeat please Nobody knew that here ? It's totally crazy, I don't remember an event with GT1, F1, CLK-GTR together, very astonishing.

It's a pity, the information was not known by ALL enthusiasts...

Wow... to have all these cars together in a non-competition event. Amazing!

Re: Anyone know anything about this meet?

I emailed SPS if they still have the silver F1 under service.

If yes I will try to visit them and take some pics!

Patrick - Do us a favor and ask them to please share more photos of this F1 that I found in the 17.07.2006 gallery on their website.

I certainly don't recognize the steering wheel at all - does anyone else? Incidentally, does it look like that is a flat-bottom wheel to anyone besides me? It seems to take a sharper turn on the lower left side than it would if it were round.

You can almost see the exterior paint color along the base of the windsheild, and it looks to be red, or brown, or maybe even orange?

I was actually thinking that given their location (Germany) that it could be #071, since that is where that car is supposed to reside, but Driving Ambition shows the steering wheel in that car looked like this at the time of build:

I see no great reason why someone would have changed it, so I am left thinking that this is a different F1 altogether, and possibly one we have not seen yet.

Aye - the resident expert strikes again. Good call on that one sir.

I can't believe I had never noticed the flat bottom wheel in his hand before.

Now we definitely want more pics.
