anyone tried the HoK paint from wal-mart?
was in there today and noticed they now stock HoK paint instead of the old testors stuff (picked up some packs of airbrush stencils they had as well) .. decent selection of colors and such ... just curious if anyone has already tried it? ... may pick up some .. i have used the automotive HoK paint before ... just wondering if this is the same ... or a different kind of paint all together...

These are NOT "true" HOK paints, they are ENAMEL paints made by Valspar, THE MAKERS of HOK:

Re: anyone tried the HoK paint from wal-mart?
I tried it out on the AMT Supra. The results wern't too bad. I'd try it again. I utilized their three part system. base/color/clear.
You can find it in my Fotki link under 2006 projects. Chris |
