Hard Shifting at startup

History : Had Solenoids A & B replaced along with a new computer(forget name, PCM?) because my tranny wouldn't shift out of 1st.

Lately I've been noticing that when I start up my car It's been a little firm when shifting, and then today my car had a hard shift, shiting both up and down. Went to Reverse first obviously, neutral, and then drive, then back down. Hard shifts on them all. The S.E. light was on.

However, this went away, and then started to shift like normal. No problems, started driving and then later I noticed the light came on again, so I did a little test and again had a hard shift. Light went off, no more problems.

Any thoughts on what the problem is?

have the same problem. What, where, and how difficult is the pcs to replace? someone else has suggested it to be the turbine speed sensor.

Re: Hard Shifting at startup

Must drop the drivetrain down with the subframe, remove the lt axle and remove the trans side cover to reach the valve body, get it diagnosed properly first.
