Rear Axle

So I found out that i need a new rear axle for my jeep. Im tryin to find a less expensive one but i need one for good off roadin right now im runnin 33's and 4" lift so its gotta be a bigger axle. Im thinkin a ford 9" or a d44 but im not sure. The front axle has 4.56 gears and is a d30 so I wanna keep the gears at 4.56 cause i dont wanna mess with the front. Any ideas?

Re: Rear Axle

What axle do you have now and whats wrong with it?
If its a D35, you should definately be thinking upgrade but if its an 8.25 and theres nothing wrong with it, I wouldnt bother upgrading just to run 33s, maybe put some alloy shafts in but other than that, the 8.25 should be fine for 33s.
