96 T&C dead battery now the alarm wont go off.

my 96 T&C battery died yesterday and today i replaced it.
but now when i hook up the battery the alarm goes off and i can turn it off.

any way i can fix this?

is it factory equiped if so try unlocking one of the front doors with the key or use the keyless entry fob to unlock the doors
