Re: 1970 chevy nova

Fred Cady has decals for the Yenko Nova, which you can order off his website. Not sure if he still makes them specifically, you'll have to ask him.

The AMT-Ertl "Old Pro" Nova will suffice. I believe it's a '72 but it's essentially the same.

That's the old box, it has a new one. AMT recently re-released it. You can find it on ebay or at most Wal-Marts.

Re: 1970 chevy nova

I suggest NOT to use the AMT kit. The body is not 100% correct and it is very difficult to get the separate fenders inline with the rest of the body.
Better use the Jimmy Flintstone #NB64 1970 Nova SS 1/25 body together with parts from the AMT kit. Jimmy Flintstone's excellent engraved body is a 1-piece part and comes with corrected roofline and chrom trim!
I have found mine on ebay for about $ 9.00.

That is definitely true, the kit is a royal pain in the ass. Took me forever to get the fenders right
