Re: Internet Exploder 7

I was not impressed, but it has been awhile since I messed around with it...it was an early beta version that I used. And for whatever reason, I could not roll back to IE6 once I installed it, so I had to reinstall XP.

Re: Internet Exploder 7

IE6 with tabs is pretty much all. Not enough to get me to switch.

Yes, it is. I loaded a beta version and it was junk....... java script errors prevented me from loading about 10% of the sites out there, including AF.

I deleated it and loaded the FINAL version last week........ and java script errors prevented me from loading about 10% of the sites out there including AF.

As an alternative, I loaded Netscape 8.1 (horrible) and Firefox 2.0, which is super nice.

IMO IE7 is only useful for looking up Microsoft Windows upgrades.

Re: Internet Exploder 7

I hav come to the conclusion that IE in general is bugy and full of holes, its unfit for any human to use

Seems like MSN has some PO'd ex-employees or something.
Nothing but trouble, I should just switch to linux!

Re: Internet Exploder 7

I have a quick question concerning IE7. I finally got hooked up to FiOS and went with Yahoo Broadband content for Verizon. I asked the tech who was installing it on my computer if he could do it to my Mozilla browser. He said he never did it to Mozilla as Verizon reccomends IE. So I had him install it on the IE browser on my computer, and a couple of days later get an email from Yahoo asking me to "upgrade" to IE7 for the added protection, blah , blah, etc. So I downloaded it and was preparing to install it when it told me to disable any anti virus and anti spyware software. I was able to disable the norton but have no idea on how to disable the spybot,AVG,Ad Aware, and the software program offered by Microsoft for virus and spyware. Do I really need to disable all of these to proceed, and how do I go about doing so?

Why are you running AVG and Norton at the same time? You only need one form of antivirus programming, or they may conflict with one another.

You should not have to disable Spybot. Adaware does not have real time scanning or blocking, so don't worry about that. Microsoft's spyware program should be fine as it is, no need to try and disable.

I would suggest you remove either AVG or Norton, but keep one of them. Then disable the one you keep temporarily and install IE7 if that's what you want.
