2000 Town Car Under Dash Relay Clicking
There seems to be a relay-sounding clicking under the dash that simply clicks off-and-on periodically. Nothing seems to be affected so far. Any ideas anyone?

Might be the blend door opening and closing. Does it sound like it is coming more from the passenger side of the car?

Re: 2000 Town Car Under Dash Relay Clicking
Don't think it is the blend door. Passengers think my turn signal is on at times, so it sounds a LOT like a turn signal flasher, and it is coming from the drivers side, under dash. Any idea of which relays/flashers are down there?

Re: 2000 Town Car Under Dash Relay Clicking
Just a wild guess, do you think it might be something in the Climate control system? Or is this clicking 'always' even when climate control is off?

Re: 2000 Town Car Under Dash Relay Clicking
Don't think it is associated with Climate Control.
I tried turning climate control on and off while the clicking is going on and it has no effect. I think it is either the Multi Function Swithch or LCM, but I don't want to start swapping parts. It sounds exactly like the turn signal is on. ANy help would be appreciated Thanks |

I'm leaning toward the LCM...I have to find the time and money for it.
