Yamaha YZR M1 Fortuna 2004 WIP

Masked off the areas to be painted Silver. phew....... what a job

Masking tape removed now, not looking too bad either

I've now test assembled the body panels to find Tamiya Masks are crap and don't work well at all, so I stuck it together and re masked and resprayed the silver areas to get a nice straight line.

If I build another one I will mask it myself.

Sweet! Love your paint jobs as you are so careful with the masking. This is a stunner livery and in your hands the kit willbe as well!
I might not be too far off if this is finished in acouple of weeks either?

Great start Steve, those base paints look to good, do you sand at all before clear coat?

Not unless it has some dust in it, but 99% of the time no.

Nice work Steve! I must say those Zero paints are sensational both in terms of colour matching and also ease of use!
