What The Heck Is It???
my husband is making a bomber class factory stock race car out of a 1972 Impala...
When we took out the back seat, we saw a metal box about 10"x6"x1" in the center behind where the back seat had been. It is right behind where some kid's head would have been, and it appears to be connected by a hard fuel line to the fuel tank???  Anybody have any idea what the heck it is and the purpose it served? We are required to put the gas tank in the trunk, would it be wise to remove this thing or do we need to leave those connections intact and not screw with it??
