mod time...

yeah boys...the f1 is getting a new look...as some of u know my zo6 wheels got damaged in my wreck i had almost a year ago from now...well the front wheels got screwed but the back ones are ok. anyway, i just ordered 2 new ones that i intend on putting sum big ass tires on once they get here. on top of that the new suspention gets thrown on this weekend, along with a new set of jet hot long tubes baby....that should sound nice! along with that, i got my 3 73's on the way..new gears. im looking for a decent cam as we speak, and my nexus auto meters should be here soon....cause u know im spraying the piss out of this one too!! so, the car should be done by f body gathering in may...along with a re done paint job. stripes comming off , car will be redone (same color) and im thinking about having the strips painted back on this time. the sticker thing sux. oh and i also now have the front rs nose clip on the front like it should have so she looks back to normal now...so i need to update the pic. when i get everything back ill post pics and figure out how to do a sound clip....also with the new tires on the way, i may have a burn out video in honor of the tires on her now that are comming off...

I know how that is...my parental units were giving me an ear-full for not saving for college but spending money on the maro. I thought I would be done, but my car sounds like shit now and all I want is a new catback, but I have to hold out till at least spring. Its killing me.

Re: mod time...

I've had the car for a little over a year and only spend a little over a grand on bolt-ons and extras, but had to spend some coin on repairs. And all I want to top the car off is a $400 catback, and then later a new hood and a replacement front bumper cover. Then I'm done.

Re: mod time...

Yeah i now the feeling to. I worked my ass of to get alot of money to fix up maro and had about $2500 close to three and then graduated and spent all of it on tools because required for college and then the parents made me buy there grand prix for $4600( got a loan) They said that they wanted me to have something reliable with good gas mileage. talk about being pissed to no end. I am just now recovering from it. starting to get a little money. this time i spend it when i get it so that dont happen again.
I shouldnt complain alot though i would have put alot of miles on the maro and spent a bunch of money on gas.

Re: mod time...

I would have like to spend it all on the maro but i needed the tools instead. I bought s&k tools with a 70% discount and i spent about $2400 on them. The tools came in a 277 pcs vocational set and a 15 drawer mobile cart. I guess not to shabby.
