I need some help from anyone who can give it. I am replacing some speakers on my 98 s-10. i have managed to rem ove almost the entire door panel but am held up by the manual window crank . How do I remove this
? If anyone can help please contact me at [email protected] or on my AIM name: gizmo331. Thanks. P.S.: Also if you can get me a diagram that would be helpful...it is not neccesary though. |

There is a c shaped clip that holds the handle to the shaft. You can get it loose with a bent hanger wire by hooking it and pulling it away from the shaft.

hey, i know thats anoting. umm i had the same problem. what you have to do if you have like 10$ i wouls sugest going to any auto parts store or chevy dealer and they have a tool that looks kinda like a fork. you slide the tool between the door and the crank and you will see a c clamp the too will pop that of. you could try a hanger like the other guy said but that will drive you nuts.

you can also do it with 2 screw drivers... just mash in the door panel a bit and shine a flashlight and push on both ends with the screwdrivers.
