ABS light on...?

95 lumina ls 150,000 km..have had this problem before but it went away for a few months but now its back. While driving the abs light will turn on ..it always starts after a little driving and doesent turn onn untill i shut the car off. Have had it in the garage and replaced, the sensor, and the relay. What else could it be? sometimes it doesent turn on at all!

Re: ABS light on...?

you might have to do what i did. i went to a local repair garage and had them put on this huge code scanner. just ask if they can get codes for ABS. with mine they pinpointed that i needed a new front left wheel bearing.

You need t get the ABS code with a ABS scanner.
When the light is on ABS is not working.
Post back code for more help.

Re: ABS light on...?

hey man I know this sounds strange but try flushing your entire brake fluid system, the fluid could be so old it heats up quicker and causes brake failure and/or false readings on scanners. I say this only because you've changed sensors. let me know if that helps any? good luck!
