Question a4 2001 or 2002

Ok, i have some questions here and i realy need some help out there guys! 1st, whats the real diference betwen the 2001 and - and the 2002 and +, is it only the boost on the turbo or a bigger turbo(i know volks 1.8t is like 9psi and 13psi in 2001, is it the same now), what i mean is.... whats the best way to reach about 250hp on the 97 no need more hp neways, boost and tuneups on the 97 stock turbo? or get a bigger turbo(proly like the 2002)? think about the fact that i dont wana go over 250hp all i need is between 220 and 250, if the bigger turbo is more expensive to reach the same lvl(250hp) but can be still upgraded to reach more hp im not interested, but if staying with stock turbo and upgrading it will take me to 220-250hp cheaper than gettin new turbo then its gettin intresting. Oh and last question, and im sry for these questions i did my search but im still in the dust , so im asking these questions directly! will just upgrading the stock turbo (how much will it cost me) get my 0-60 in the low 6's? or to reach low 6's hi 5's ill need to upg the turbo(how much this option will cost me), my main objective is to be under the 6's but not in the low 5's just to beat an eclipse(o-60 = 6.6 with 210hp fwd) i like a4 for the luxury interior and the quattro system, cuz im bored of non luxury sport cars, i want the 4door space and confort with all these electronic 4lazy fuks controls(hehe, thats me ) but with enough speed to beat a nice sport car thats still stock! in the 0-60(street racing)(wrx-ecplise-talon tsi-240sx-celica gts)

Re: a4 2001 or 2002

This will help with the difference http://www.audiworld.com/tech/misc1.shtml
Power wise and the cheapest option is to install a K04-15 turbo which with the correct mapping should see around 240bhp, I have to say I would only go this route if you can pick up one of these turbo's cheap.

The other option is the GT28RS or even better the GT2871R kit which would give you around 280-300bhp for the first kit and around 330-350bhp for the other kit and these will eat the Eclipse for dinner.
