Transmission-Diamante to 3000gt HELP!

I have a 94 3000GT Non turbo v6 dohc and the transmission blew . will a transmission auto/overdrive out of a 1994 diamante sohc, will this bolt up to my car. Please RESPOND I NEED AWNSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

umm...look for the transmisison ID. according to the manual, the ID on your 3000GT atx should be F4A33-1-MNP8, or something of that sort. simply look for a number like that on the 3000GT atx, and on the Diamante atx.

OK I know a guy on 3si with a 93 dohc 3000gt using a diamante ATX tranny....not sure what year/model diamante it came out of though. I do believe you have to relocate the dipstick though.

Also found this, which would indicate not all can be interchanged

This, says 92-97 are the same

sorry it's not a definitive answer, but I'm on my way out and thats all the research I had time for. Like Linebckr said, check the tranny ids. Hope this helps somewhat.
