Help with codes, please

I just recently have had some trans. issues and got the car's comp. read. Well here goes, DTC P0742 and DTC P1811, I read the post for 1811, heard it was the pcs solenoid. Just wanted to confirm that and any help with the other, which i think is the TCC solenoid, would be great! Also any suggestions on where to take it, or can I do this myself, I ain't scared. Thanks in advance.

P0742- Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Stock On

The parts are under the transmission side cover, so replacing them involves dropping the engine and trans out of the cradle to gain clearance to remove the side cover. If you're up for that, the actual parts replacement is simple once you get access to them.

Better head for a good repair shop.
Code 1811 is transmission taking to long to shift.
I do not see a connection with code 742.
First thing to check is fluid level and condition and transmission filter.
Take note on what is in the bottom of transmission pan.
Good Luck MT

After looking at the repair flow chart for a code P0742 it is possiable it could throw a code P1811 as it disables the shift adaptive mode.
But still sounds like a good repair shop is needed for it.
Here is the repair flow chart on P0742.

Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
